Role Purpose
To provide strategic and operational HR leadership by driving talent management, employee engagement, compliance, performance management, and organizational development in alignment with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic HR Leadership

Develop and implement HR strategy aligned with company growth plans.

Advise management on workforce planning and organizational structure.

Lead culture-building and employee engagement initiatives.
Talent Management
-
Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and succession planning.

Develop performance management systems and KPIs.

Implement training and development programs for factory and office staff.
Employee Relations & Compliance
-
Ensure compliance with Kenyan labour laws and statutory requirements.

Manage disciplinary processes, grievances, and conflict resolution.

Oversee employee contracts, policies, and HR documentation.
Compensation & Payroll Oversight

Supervise payroll processes and benefits administration.

Support salary structuring and compensation reviews.
Manufacturing Workforce Oversight

Manage shift workforce dynamics and productivity issues.

Promote health, safety, and workplace standards in collaboration with operations.

Strengthen HR controls within production and logistics teams.
Qualifications & Experience
-
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field.

Higher Diploma in Human Resource Management (CHRP-K preferred).
-
Minimum 5–7 years progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a manufacturing or industrial setup.

Proven experience managing HR teams and multi-level workforces.

Strong knowledge of Kenyan labour laws and HR compliance requirements.

Experience handling complex employee relations matters.

Exposure to payroll systems and HRIS platforms.

Strong leadership presence with the ability to influence senior management.
