Our client is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Registered Quantity Surveyor to join the team in Nairobi. The ideal candidate will play a key role in cost estimation, budgeting, contract management, and ensuring value-for-money on all construction projects.
Key Responsibilities

Review architectural plans and prepare detailed quantity requirements.

Estimate costs and quantities of materials required for projects.

Prepare contracts, tender documents, and assess bids.

Set budgets and monitor payments, inventory, and project variations.

Negotiate with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers.

Provide cost analysis for construction, maintenance, and property management.

Advise clients on strategies, improvements, and estimated project costs.

Ensure compliance with property taxes, regulations, and local building laws.

Document project progress and maintain accurate reports.

Build and maintain strong professional relationships with contractors and stakeholders.
Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying from a recognized institution.

Registered with a relevant professional body and holding a valid practicing license.

At least 5 years of progressive experience in a similar role.

Strong analytical, organizational, and strategic planning skills.

In-depth knowledge of construction processes and cost management.
