Our client is looking for a dynamic Sales Operations Team Leader who will drive performance, supervise a sales team, manage the fleet operations, and ensure efficient sales operations. This person will lead the sales operations unit, ensuring that sales targets are met, delivery/logistics (fleet) is optimally managed, and operations run smoothly.
Key Responsibilities

Lead, mentor and supervise the sales operations team to achieve sales targets and maintain high standards of customer service.

Oversee fleet management: scheduling, maintenance, routing, fuel consumption, tracking, and optimizing delivery logistics.

Coordinate with warehousing, procurement, and dispatch teams to ensure timely product availability and delivery.

Implement sales operations processes & tools; ensure efficient workflow and systems.

Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for sales operations, fleet performance, delivery times, and customer satisfaction; report regularly to management.

Manage budgets related to fleet operations and sales operations; control costs.

Ensure compliance with safety standards, vehicle maintenance schedules, and regulatory requirements.

Assist in recruitment, training and performance reviews of the sales operations team.

Collaborate with sales leadership to strategize on market expansion, route optimization, and service delivery improvements.
Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.

Minimum of 3-5 years experience in sales operations / logistics / field operations, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.

Experience in fleet management—routing, scheduling, vehicle maintenance, performance tracking.

Strong analytical skills: ability to use sales and operations data to make decisions, forecast, and optimize processes.

Excellent leadership, communication, and people management skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment; strong problem-solver.

Good understanding of FMCG / produce supply chains will be a plus.
