Our client is looking for a dynamic Sales Operations Team Leader who will drive performance, supervise a sales team, manage the fleet operations, and ensure efficient sales operations. This person will lead the sales operations unit, ensuring that sales targets are met, delivery/logistics (fleet) is optimally managed, and operations run smoothly.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor and supervise the sales operations team to achieve sales targets and maintain high standards of customer service.

  • Oversee fleet management: scheduling, maintenance, routing, fuel consumption, tracking, and optimizing delivery logistics.

  • Coordinate with warehousing, procurement, and dispatch teams to ensure timely product availability and delivery.

  • Implement sales operations processes & tools; ensure efficient workflow and systems.

  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for sales operations, fleet performance, delivery times, and customer satisfaction; report regularly to management.

  • Manage budgets related to fleet operations and sales operations; control costs.

  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, vehicle maintenance schedules, and regulatory requirements.

  • Assist in recruitment, training and performance reviews of the sales operations team.

  • Collaborate with sales leadership to strategize on market expansion, route optimization, and service delivery improvements.


Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.

  • Minimum of 3-5 years experience in sales operations / logistics / field operations, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.

  • Experience in fleet management—routing, scheduling, vehicle maintenance, performance tracking.

  • Strong analytical skills: ability to use sales and operations data to make decisions, forecast, and optimize processes.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and people management skills.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment; strong problem-solver.

  • Good understanding of FMCG / produce supply chains will be a plus.
