Our client is seeking a highly organized and experienced Storeman to join the team. This role is critical in ensuring a reliable flow of spares, lubricants, and consumables to support our construction operations. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, accountable, and able to maintain efficient inventory management systems.
Key Responsibilities

Oversee the receipt, inspection, storage, and issuance of spares, lubricants, and consumables.

Maintain accurate stock records (manual and electronic) in line with company systems.

Monitor stock levels, prepare requisitions, and ensure timely replenishment to avoid shortages.

Conduct stock takes, reconciliations, and variance reporting.

Ensure proper labeling, safe handling, and storage of materials, including hazardous items.

Liaise with procurement, finance, and operations teams to align records and budgets.

Prepare monthly inventory and usage reports for management.

Maintain cleanliness, orderliness, and safety standards in the stores/yard.
Requirements

Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Storeman/Stores Officer in construction, heavy equipment, or industrial sector.

Strong knowledge of inventory management, stock control, and warehouse procedures.

Proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with inventory management systems.

Basic accounting skills for stock reconciliation and cost reporting.

High integrity, reliability, and ability to work independently.
