Our Client a College is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Human Resources Manager to oversee HR operations across our campuses. This role is critical in ensuring that our people strategy supports academic excellence, staff engagement, and organizational growth.
The successful candidate will provide leadership in designing and implementing HR policies, managing recruitment and retention, ensuring compliance with labour laws, and building a culture that enables staff and students to thrive.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement HR strategies that support the College’s academic and administrative goals.

Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and performance management of both academic and non-academic staff across branches.

Ensure compliance with Kenyan labour laws, TVET regulations, and institutional policies.

Provide HR support in areas of employee relations, disciplinary processes, and staff welfare.

Lead workforce planning and succession management to meet the College’s growth needs.

Coordinate staff learning and development initiatives, including leadership and professional training.

Manage compensation, benefits, and payroll inputs in collaboration with Finance.

Foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performance culture across all campuses.

Serve as the main point of contact for HR-related audits, compliance, and external stakeholders.
Qualifications & Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in HRM, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s/Postgraduate Diploma in HR is an advantage).

Professional membership with IHRM and a valid practicing certificate.

5–10 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role; prior experience in the education or training sector is an added advantage.

Strong knowledge of Kenyan labour laws, HR best practices, and HRIS systems.

Proven ability to manage HR in a multi-branch environment.

Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills with a high level of integrity and confidentiality.
