Our client an innovative Agritech company using technology to transform agriculture and improve livelihoods — are looking for a Human Resource Officer who can lead, inspire, and manage a dynamic, performance-oriented workforce across multiple locations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive a performance-based culture, setting clear KPIs and ensuring consistent staff evaluations across all regions.

  • Oversee end-to-end HR operations including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee relations.

  • Provide guidance and support to field supervisors and regional teams to ensure alignment with company goals.

  • Develop HR policies and systems that promote productivity, accountability, and continuous improvement.

  • Handle conflict resolution, disciplinary procedures, and employee welfare with professionalism and fairness.

  • Support talent development and training programs, particularly for field-based agricultural staff.

  • Monitor compliance with labor laws, safety, and ethical workplace standards.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field (Higher qualification is an added advantage).

  • 5+ years’ progressive HR experience, with at least 2 years managing performance-based or field employees.

  • Previous exposure to or understanding of agriculture, agribusiness, or rural field operations.

  • Proven ability to manage multi-location teams and maintain consistent performance standards.

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.

  • Member of IHRM and conversant with Kenyan labor laws.
