Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day financial operations and accounting functions

  • Prepare and review management accounts, financial statements, and reports

  • Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections

  • Ensure compliance with statutory obligations (PAYE, VAT, NSSF, NHIF/SHIF)

  • Manage tax filings and liaise with auditors, banks, and regulators

  • Strengthen financial controls, policies, and procedures

  • Monitor expenditure and advise management on cost control

  • Supervise finance staff and support performance management

  • Provide financial analysis to support strategic and operational decisions


🎓 Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field

  • CPA (K) or ACCA qualification (mandatory)

  • Minimum 5–7 years’ experience in finance and accounting

  • At least 2–3 years in a supervisory or managerial role

  • Strong knowledge of Kenyan tax and statutory requirements

  • Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems

  • Experience in budgeting, reporting, and financial analysis
