Key Responsibilities
HR Operations & Administration
-
Manage end-to-end HR operations including recruitment, onboarding, contracts, confirmations, and exits

Maintain accurate employee records, HR files, and HRMIS data

Prepare HR reports and support management with workforce data and insights
Employee Relations & Performance Management
-
Support implementation of performance management systems and disciplinary processes
-
Handle employee relations issues including grievances, warnings, and disciplinary hearings in line with labour laws
-
Promote positive employee relations and a safe, respectful work environment
Payroll & Statutory Compliance
-
Support payroll preparation and ensure accuracy of employee data
-
Ensure compliance with labour laws and statutory requirements (NSSF, NHIF, PAYE, and other applicable regulations)

Coordinate leave management, attendance, and shift schedules
Training, Health & Safety
-
Support training needs assessment and coordination of staff training programs
-
Promote occupational health and safety practices in collaboration with production teams

Assist in implementation of HR policies and procedures
Qualifications & Experience
-
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or a related field
-
Professional HR qualification (CHRP, IHRM, or equivalent) is an added advantage
-
Minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment

Proven experience in payroll preparation and statutory compliance

Strong knowledge of labour laws and employment practices

Experience managing shop-floor staff, shift systems, and attendance controls

Proficiency in MS Office and payroll/HR systems
