Role Overview

The Sales Operations Lead will provide strategic and operational support to the Sales Manager by overseeing end-to-end sales operations, driving performance efficiency, ensuring accurate sales planning, and strengthening coordination between sales, packhouse operations, logistics, and finance. This role is critical in translating sales strategy into execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary link between Sales, Packhouse Operations, Logistics, and Finance

  • Oversee end-to-end order management, from confirmation to delivery and invoicing

  • Lead sales planning, forecasting, and demand management in line with production capacity

  • Monitor and analyze sales performance, margins, pricing, and customer profitability

  • Prepare and present detailed sales performance reports to management

  • Ensure optimal stock utilization and minimize wastage through proactive sales coordination

  • Support contract management, pricing structures, and customer agreements

  • Strengthen sales processes, systems, and controls for efficiency and scalability

  • Drive continuous improvement in sales operations and customer service standards

  • Support the Sales Manager in strategic decision-making and market execution

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, or related field

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in sales operations, commercial operations, or sales coordination

  • Proven experience in agribusiness, fresh produce, FMCG, manufacturing, or packhouse environments

  • Strong exposure to sales forecasting, pricing, and performance analysis

  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and reporting tools; ERP experience is highly desirable
