Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, implementation, and monitoring of hospital programs and initiatives
  • Develop and manage program work plans, budgets, and performance indicators
  • Provide strategic support to the Director on program design, execution, and improvement
  • Oversee administrative and operational coordination across departments
  • Draft high-quality proposals, concept notes, and reports for funding and partnerships
  • Monitor program performance and prepare regular analytical reports for management
  • Strengthen internal systems, policies, and procedures to enhance service delivery
  • Coordinate with internal teams, partners, donors, and stakeholders to ensure program success
  • Lead and mentor program staff, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, donor requirements, and institutional policies

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Management, Public Health, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Master’s degree in a relevant field is highly desirable
  • Minimum of 5–8 years’ experience in program management, preferably within a hospital or healthcare setting
  • Demonstrated experience in leading programs and managing teams at a senior level
  • Proven track record in proposal writing, grant applications, and program reporting
  • Strong understanding of health systems, hospital operations, and program implementation frameworks
  • Excellent administrative, organizational, and coordination skills
  • Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and ability to work under pressure
