Role Overview
The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales, building strong client relationships, and expanding our market presence across schools, bookstores, institutions, and corporate clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive sales of books and related products to schools, bookstores, distributors, and institutional clients
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers
- Identify new business opportunities and actively grow the client base
- Work closely with publishers and suppliers to ensure product availability and market alignment
- Conduct market research to identify trends and customer needs
- Meet and exceed set sales targets
- Prepare sales reports and provide regular market feedback
Requirements
- Proven experience in sales within the publishing/book industry
- Prior experience working with publishers is mandatory
- Strong understanding of book distribution channels and market dynamics
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills
- Self-driven, results-oriented, and able to work independently
- Proficiency in MS Office and basic reporting tools
Education
- Diploma or Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
