Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate books of accounts.
- Process and reconcile sales and purchase invoices.
- Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable functions.
- Conduct debt collection and follow up on outstanding payments.
- Prepare bank reconciliations and cash flow reports.
- Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
- Maintain proper accounting records and filing systems.
- Support statutory compliance, including VAT, PAYE, NSSF, NHIF/SHIF, and other tax requirements.
- Monitor customer accounts and ensure timely collections.
- Liaise with auditors, suppliers, and clients on financial matters.
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data within the accounting system.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
- CPA Part II or above (CPA-K finalist will have an added advantage).
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in accounting, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience in invoicing, debt collection, reconciliations, and preparation of books of accounts.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel.
- Knowledge of inventory accounting and manufacturing cost controls will be an added advantage.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
