Our client, a reputable hotel in Nairobi, is seeking a Female Security Guard to join its security team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for guests, staff, visitors, and hotel property while delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Control access to the hotel premises and verify the identity of guests, visitors, and service providers.
• Conduct regular patrols to safeguard hotel property and prevent security breaches.
• Monitor CCTV systems and promptly respond to alarms or suspicious activities.
• Handle security incidents professionally and prepare accurate incident reports.
• Assist guests with security-related concerns in a courteous and professional manner.
• Ensure compliance with hotel safety procedures, emergency response protocols, and fire safety regulations.
• Respond promptly to emergencies, disturbances, and accidents.
• Conduct security checks on hotel facilities and report maintenance or safety hazards.
• Work closely with hotel management to maintain a safe and welcoming environment.

Qualifications & Experience

• KCSE Certificate or equivalent qualification.
• Professional training in Security, Guarding, or a related field from a recognized institution.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Security Guard, preferably in a hotel, hospitality, corporate, or commercial environment.
• Valid Certificate of Good Conduct.
• First Aid training will be an added advantage.
• Experience operating CCTV and other security systems is desirable.
• Excellent observation, reporting, and incident management skills.
