Job Overview

A reputable medical and aesthetic-care practice in Nakuru, Kenya, is seeking a qualified, experienced and patient-focused Dermatologist to join its team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and managing skin, hair and nail conditions, developing appropriate treatment plans, and providing professional dermatological care.

The ideal candidate should have recognised medical qualifications, specialist training in Dermatology, valid professional registration and a current practising licence from the relevant regulatory bodies.

Location: Nakuru, Kenya
Salary: KSh 200,000–300,000

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage a wide range of skin, hair and nail conditions.
• Conduct dermatological consultations, examinations and follow-up reviews.
• Develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
• Perform relevant dermatological procedures and treatments within their area of competence.
• Provide expert guidance on skincare, skin health and preventive care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and uphold patient confidentiality.
• Work collaboratively with other healthcare and aesthetic-care professionals to deliver quality patient care.
• Maintain professional, ethical and patient-centred standards in all clinical interactions.

Qualifications and Experience

Interested candidates must meet the following requirements:

• A recognised medical degree and postgraduate qualification or specialist training in Dermatology.
• Valid registration and a current practising licence from the relevant Kenyan regulatory bodies, including KMPDC where applicable.
• Demonstrable experience in diagnosing and managing dermatological conditions.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and patient-care skills.
• A professional, ethical and patient-centred approach to healthcare.

Experience in aesthetic dermatology or cosmetic skin procedures will be an added advantage.
