Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain accurate books of accounts.
  • Process and reconcile sales and purchase invoices.
  • Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable functions.
  • Conduct debt collection and follow up on outstanding payments.
  • Prepare bank reconciliations and cash flow reports.
  • Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
  • Maintain proper accounting records and filing systems.
  • Support statutory compliance, including VAT, PAYE, NSSF, NHIF/SHIF, and other tax requirements.
  • Monitor customer accounts and ensure timely collections.
  • Liaise with auditors, suppliers, and clients on financial matters.
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data within the accounting system.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
  • CPA Part II or above (CPA-K finalist will have an added advantage).
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in accounting, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven experience in invoicing, debt collection, reconciliations, and preparation of books of accounts.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel.
  • Knowledge of inventory accounting and manufacturing cost controls will be an added advantage.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
