Key Responsibilities

The Dermatologist will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Diagnose and manage a wide range of skin, hair and nail conditions.
  • Conduct dermatological consultations, clinical examinations and follow-up reviews.
  • Develop appropriate treatment plans based on individual patient needs and clinical findings.
  • Perform relevant dermatological procedures and treatments within their area of competence.

  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare and aesthetic-care professionals to support quality patient experiences.

  • Keep appropriate clinical documentation and follow relevant professional and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications and Experience

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • A recognised medical degree and a postgraduate qualification or specialist training in Dermatology.
  • Valid registration and a current practising licence from the relevant Kenyan regulatory bodies, including KMPDC where applicable.
  • Demonstrable experience in diagnosing and managing dermatological conditions.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and patient-care skills.
  • A professional, ethical and patient-centred approach to healthcare.

Experience in aesthetic dermatology or cosmetic skin procedures will be an added advantage.

Candidates should ensure that their professional registration and practising licence are current and appropriate for the role.
