Our client is a fast-growing manufacturing company in the animal nutrition sector. They are seeking a highly competent and strategic Finance & Administration Manager to strengthen our financial controls, operational efficiency, and administrative leadership.

This role is ideal for a seasoned finance professional with proven experience in manufacturing environments and demonstrated ability to manage teams and complex operational dynamics.


Key Responsibilities

Financial Leadership

  • Oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.

  • Drive profitability through cost analysis, margin tracking, and pricing support.

  • Lead preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reports.

  • Ensure statutory compliance (tax, audit, regulatory filings).

  • Manage cash flow, working capital, and banking relationships.

Manufacturing Finance Oversight

  • Monitor production costing, raw material utilization, wastage control, and inventory management.

  • Strengthen internal controls within procurement, stores, and production.

  • Implement robust stock reconciliation and cost accounting systems.

  • Support operational decision-making with data-driven financial insights.

Administration & Team Leadership

  • Lead and supervise finance and admin staff.

  • Oversee payroll, HR coordination, and administrative functions.

  • Develop and enforce policies, procedures, and financial governance structures.

  • Improve systems for efficiency and accountability.


Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.

  • CPA (K) – Fully qualified.

  • Minimum 5+ years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.

  • Proven experience managing and leading a team.

  • Strong understanding of cost accounting and production finance.

  • Experience with ERP/accounting systems.

  • High integrity, leadership maturity, and strategic thinking ability.
