Key Responsibilities

Strategic Financial Leadership

• Provide financial insight and strategic guidance to the CEO and senior management team.

• Support business growth through financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting.

• Develop financial strategies aligned with the company’s expansion and operational goals.

Financial Management & Reporting

• Oversee preparation of accurate and timely financial reports, management accounts, and statutory filings.

• Manage budgeting processes, financial analysis, and performance monitoring.

• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting standards, and internal policies.

Internal Controls & Risk Management

• Establish, implement, and continuously strengthen internal financial controls.

• Safeguard company assets through strong governance and financial discipline.

• Identify financial risks and develop mitigation strategies to protect business sustainability.

Distribution & Operational Finance

• Provide financial oversight within a distribution-driven business model.

• Analyze margins, inventory flows, logistics costs, and operational efficiency.

• Partner with operations and supply chain teams to improve profitability and cost management.

Leadership & People Management

• Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team to achieve high performance.

• Foster a culture of accountability, accuracy, and continuous improvement.

• Drive collaboration between finance and other departments.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Professional qualification such as CPA (K), ACCA, or equivalent.

• 7+ years of progressive finance experience, with at least 3–5 years in a senior leadership or management role.

• Demonstrated experience in distribution, supply chain, FMCG, agribusiness, or logistics environments.

• Proven track record in people management and team leadership.

• Strong expertise in internal controls, financial governance, and risk management.

• Excellent financial analysis, strategic thinking, and decision-making skills.
