KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

👥 Employee Lifecycle & HR Operations

  • Managing the full employee lifecycle from onboarding to exit.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee records.
  • Ensuring HR systems and employee data remain accurate and secure.
  • Coordinating day-to-day HR administration and employee documentation.

💰 Payroll & Statutory Compliance

  • Taking hands-on ownership of payroll processing.
  • Managing statutory remittances including PAYE, NSSF and SHIF/NHIF.
  • Ensuring payroll and statutory obligations are processed accurately and on time.
  • Maintaining proper payroll records and supporting documentation.

📊 Performance, Training & HR Reporting

  • Supporting performance management and development administration.
  • Coordinating employee training and development activities.
  • Preparing HR reports, trackers and workforce-related data.
  • Maintaining accurate HR records and HR analytics.

🤝 Employee Relations, Policy & Culture

  • Supporting employee relations and workplace HR matters.
  • Implementing and administering HR policies and procedures.
  • Supporting a positive and professional workplace culture.
  • Maintaining confidentiality when handling sensitive employee matters.

📋 Benefits, Vendors & Administration

  • Supporting employee benefits administration.
  • Coordinating with HR service providers and vendors.
  • Supporting HR-related budgets and administrative processes.

👤 THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

We are looking for an HR professional who is organized, analytical, discreet and highly hands-on.

Minimum Requirements:

✔ Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Human Resource Management, Business or a closely related HR discipline.
IHRM membership or eligibility for membership is required.
2–4 years of progressive experience in HR operations and administration.
✔ Strong hands-on experience in payroll processing and statutory remittances.
✔ Experience using HRIS and payroll platforms, preferably WinguBox or an equivalent system.
✔ Working knowledge of Kenyan labour laws and statutory compliance requirements.
✔ Strong proficiency in MS Office Suite and Google Sheets.
✔ Strong records, tracker management and data analysis skills.
✔ Finance or accounting exposure will be an added advantage, particularly given the ownership of payroll and statutory remittances.
✔ High ethical standards, integrity and strict confidentiality.
