Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate inventory and accounting records.
- Monitor stock movements, receipts, issues and transfers.
- Reconcile physical stock with system records and investigate variances.
- Participate in stock counts, inventory reconciliations and reporting.
- Verify inventory documentation and ensure all transactions are properly recorded.
- Support the preparation of inventory-related financial reports.
- Assist with month-end stock and accounting reconciliations.
- Work closely with Stores, Procurement, Production and Finance teams.
- Ensure inventory transactions are accurately captured in SAP.
- Perform other accounting and inventory-related duties as assigned.
Key Requirements
- Minimum 5 years’ relevant working experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
- Bachelor of Commerce, CPA or an equivalent accounting qualification is an added advantage.
- Practical experience working with SAP is mandatory.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
- Good understanding of inventory accounting, stock control and reconciliation.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Flexible and able to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
