Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain accurate inventory records across all warehouses and retail locations.
  • Perform regular stock reconciliations between physical inventory and ERP/system records.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory variances, losses, and discrepancies promptly.
  • Prepare inventory valuation, movement, and aging reports.
  • Work closely with the finance team to ensure inventory transactions are accurately reflected in the general ledger.
  • Participate in month-end and year-end inventory closing processes.
  • Coordinate and oversee periodic and annual stock counts.
  • Monitor inventory controls and recommend process improvements to minimize stock losses.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and audit requirements.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis related to inventory.
  • Liaise with procurement, warehouse, retail, and operations teams to maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Prepare inventory-related reports and analysis for management.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • CPA Part II or CPA(K) will be an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in inventory control within the telecommunications, electronics, FMCG, retail, or distribution industry.
  • Strong understanding of inventory accounting and stock reconciliation.
  • Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Sage, Odoo, or similar inventory management systems.
  • Excellent analytical and reconciliation skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • High level of integrity, attention to detail, and accountability.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict reporting deadlines.
