Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate books of accounts in line with accounting standards and company policies.

  • Prepare monthly management accounts, journals, schedules, and reconciliations.

  • Handle accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing, collections, and supplier payments.

  • Perform bank, creditor, debtor, and inventory reconciliations.

  • Assist in preparation and filing of statutory returns (PAYE, VAT, NSSF, NHIF).

  • Support audits by preparing audit schedules and responding to audit queries.

  • Monitor expenses, cost controls, and budget performance.

  • Ensure proper documentation and filing of all financial records.

  • Support cash flow monitoring and forecasting.

  • Liaise with internal departments on financial and accounting matters.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

  • CPA (Part II or above) or ACCA qualification is mandatory.

  • Minimum 3–5 years relevant accounting experience in a structured organization.

  • Strong working knowledge of accounting principles and statutory compliance.

  • Proficiency in Excel (advanced level preferred) and accounting systems.

  • Experience in medical, FMCG, manufacturing, or distribution environments is an added advantage.
