Our client is seeking a high-calibre Advocate with a strong background in property law and conveyancing to join the team. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on high-impact property and legal matters, supporting a portfolio of church-owned assets and investments across Kenya.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth legal research and provide well-grounded legal opinions

  • Handle litigation matters, including case preparation, filings, and liaison with external counsel

  • Manage end-to-end conveyancing transactions, including due diligence, searches, drafting, and registration

  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, leases, and legal agreements

  • Advise on property law, trusts, and regulatory compliance

  • Safeguard the Foundation’s legal interests across all transactions

  • Liaise with government offices, regulators, and key stakeholders

  • Maintain accurate and well-organized legal records

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) degree from a recognized institution

  • Admission as an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya

  • Valid Practicing Certificate

  • 1+ years Post-Admission Experience (PQE)

  • Demonstrated experience in conveyancing, litigation, and legal research

  • Strong understanding of Kenyan property law and legal frameworks
