Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, implementation, and monitoring of hospital programs and initiatives
- Develop and manage program work plans, budgets, and performance indicators
- Provide strategic support to the Director on program design, execution, and improvement
- Oversee administrative and operational coordination across departments
- Draft high-quality proposals, concept notes, and reports for funding and partnerships
- Monitor program performance and prepare regular analytical reports for management
- Strengthen internal systems, policies, and procedures to enhance service delivery
- Coordinate with internal teams, partners, donors, and stakeholders to ensure program success
- Lead and mentor program staff, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, donor requirements, and institutional policies
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Management, Public Health, Business Administration, or a related field
- Master’s degree in a relevant field is highly desirable
- Minimum of 5–8 years’ experience in program management, preferably within a hospital or healthcare setting
- Demonstrated experience in leading programs and managing teams at a senior level
- Proven track record in proposal writing, grant applications, and program reporting
- Strong understanding of health systems, hospital operations, and program implementation frameworks
- Excellent administrative, organizational, and coordination skills
- Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and ability to work under pressure
