Reports to: Hospital Director / Senior Management

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and manage hospital projects from proposal development to implementation and reporting.

  • Lead proposal writing, grant applications, concept notes, and donor or stakeholder reports.

  • Oversee administrative operations to ensure smooth hospital functioning and compliance with internal policies.

  • Prepare project budgets, work plans, timelines, and progress reports.

  • Liaise with internal departments, partners, donors, and regulatory bodies.

  • Support HR functions, including recruitment coordination, staff onboarding, record management, performance documentation, and compliance with labour requirements.

  • Assist management in developing policies, SOPs, and operational guidelines.

  • Monitor project performance, risks, and deliverables, ensuring timely completion and quality outcomes.

  • Maintain accurate documentation, filing systems, and reports for audits and reviews.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Health Management, Public Administration, or a related field.

  • A Master’s degree will be a strong added advantage.

  • Proven experience in project management and administrative roles, preferably within a hospital or healthcare setting.

  • Demonstrated strong proposal writing and reporting skills.

  • Good understanding of HR processes and labour compliance.

  • Excellent organizational, planning, and multitasking abilities.

  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills.

  • High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.

  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and report preparation.
