Key Responsibilities

As the Property Manager, you will be responsible for the overall operational, financial, and administrative management of assigned commercial properties. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the day-to-day operations of commercial properties to ensure efficiency, profitability, and high service standards.
  • Marketing vacant spaces and driving occupancy through effective tenant sourcing, screening, onboarding, lease administration, renewals, and exits.
  • Monitoring rent collection, following up on arrears, managing debt recovery, and ensuring compliance with lease agreements.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with tenants by promptly resolving concerns and enhancing tenant satisfaction and retention.
  • Planning and coordinating preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure properties remain safe, attractive, and fully operational.
  • Conducting routine property inspections and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and statutory regulations.
  • Managing contractors, suppliers, and service providers to ensure quality work, cost efficiency, and timely service delivery.
  • Preparing and managing property budgets, operating expenses, and financial reports.
  • Maintaining accurate property records, lease agreements, maintenance logs, payment records, and occupancy reports.
  • Monitoring key performance indicators including occupancy levels, rental income, maintenance response times, tenant satisfaction, operational costs, and profitability while implementing strategies for continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Experience

The ideal candidate should possess:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, Property Management, or a related field.
  • Mandatory registration with the Estate Agents Registration Board (EARB).
  • Proven experience managing commercial properties or a similar real estate portfolio.
  • Strong knowledge of landlord and tenant legislation, property regulations, and lease administration.
  • Experience using property management software and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent financial management, budgeting, and reporting skills.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage contractors, vendors, and service providers effectively.
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Strong marketing and leasing experience.
  • High attention to detail, integrity, and excellent record management skills.
