We are seeking a highly organized, customer-focused, and proactive Restaurant Supervisor to support the daily operations of a busy restaurant. The successful candidate will work closely with the Operations (F&B) Manager to ensure excellent service delivery, effective staff supervision, smooth restaurant operations, and an exceptional customer experience.
This role requires a hands-on leader who can motivate teams, maintain high service standards, address customer concerns professionally, and ensure operational excellence at all times.
Key Responsibilities
1. Staff Management & Supervision
- Supervise and coordinate restaurant staff during shifts to ensure efficient operations.
- Monitor employee performance and adherence to company standards and policies.
- Assist in staff training, coaching, and development to improve service delivery.
- Prepare and manage staff duty rosters and shift allocations.
- Foster teamwork, discipline, and a positive work environment.
2. Customer Service Excellence
- Ensure guests receive exceptional service and a memorable dining experience.
- Address customer complaints, concerns, and feedback promptly and professionally.
- Escalate significant customer issues to management and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Monitor customer satisfaction levels and identify opportunities for improvement.
3. Food & Beverage Quality Control
- Conduct regular quality checks on food and beverage presentation, service standards, and hygiene practices.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
- Work closely with the kitchen and service teams to maintain consistency in product quality.
- Monitor cleanliness and overall appearance of the restaurant.
4. Events Coordination
- Support the planning and execution of restaurant events, corporate functions, and special occasions.
- Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure successful event delivery.
- Ensure guests’ requirements are met and service standards are maintained throughout events.
5. Sales Reporting
- Prepare and submit accurate daily sales reports.
- Monitor sales performance and identify opportunities to improve revenue generation.
- Assist management in tracking key operational and sales metrics.
6. Operational Records Management
- Maintain accurate records of staff attendance, shift schedules, and operational activities.
- Ensure proper documentation and reporting of daily restaurant operations.
- Support management with administrative and operational reporting requirements.
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma in Hotel Management, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a supervisory role within a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environment.
- Strong understanding of restaurant operations, food and beverage service standards, and customer service best practices.
- Experience in staff supervision, scheduling, and performance management.
