Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, supervise, coach, and motivate Field Sales Representatives to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Develop and execute effective territory sales strategies to drive revenue growth.
  • Identify new business opportunities and expand the company’s customer base.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with hospitals, clinics, pharmacies, laboratories, distributors, NGOs, and other healthcare institutions.
  • Conduct regular field visits to support the sales team, monitor performance, and provide on-the-job coaching.
  • Ensure excellent product knowledge across the team through continuous training and mentorship.
  • Prepare sales forecasts, market intelligence reports, and performance reports.
  • Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and market trends to identify growth opportunities.
  • Work closely with internal departments to ensure excellent customer service and timely order fulfillment.
  • Ensure achievement of individual and team KPIs while maintaining high professional and ethical standards.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Biomedical Sciences, Pharmacy, Nursing, Public Health, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in field sales within the medical supplies, medical devices, pharmaceutical, or healthcare industry.
  • At least 2 years’ experience leading or supervising a field sales team.
  • Demonstrated success in consistently meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong network within hospitals, healthcare facilities, distributors, and medical institutions will be an added advantage.
  • Excellent leadership, coaching, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Strong presentation, communication, and report-writing abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
  • Valid driving licence with willingness to travel extensively.
