Our client, a leading provider of ICT and ELV solutions, is seeking a highly driven and commercially minded Senior Sales Associate to support business growth across East Africa and the wider Sub-Saharan African region.
This is an exciting opportunity for an independent, self-motivated sales professional with proven experience selling ICT products, technology solutions, or ELV systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strategic client relationships, and driving revenue growth across multiple industries and markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive sales growth by identifying, pursuing, and closing new business opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, property developers, hospitality groups, consultants, contractors, and decision-makers.
- Develop and manage a healthy sales pipeline across assigned territories.
- Conduct client meetings, presentations, site visits, and solution demonstrations.
- Work closely with technical and presales teams to develop customized client solutions and proposals.
- Manage the complete sales cycle from prospecting and lead generation to negotiation and contract closure.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, forecasts, and sales reports.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging business opportunities within the region.
- Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, networking forums, and client engagements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, ICT, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in B2B sales, preferably within ICT, technology solutions, systems integration, telecommunications, networking equipment, ELV systems, or related industries.
- Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong experience selling IT equipment, technology products, or technical solutions.
- Excellent negotiation, relationship management, and business development skills.
- Highly independent, proactive, and capable of working with minimal supervision.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Valid passport and willingness to travel extensively across Sub-Saharan Africa.
